Terms and Conditions

These terms govern your use of Sage, an AI advisor for property investing operated by Knowledge Seminars Pty Ltd (ABN 26 169 818 099), trading as Knowledge Source ("we", "us", "our"). Please read them carefully before using the service.

1. Acceptance and binding effect

By creating an account or using Sage, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

These Terms form a legally binding agreement between you and Knowledge Seminars Pty Ltd.

2. Eligibility

To use Sage you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Be a resident of Australia
  • Be currently enrolled in an active Knowledge Source program that includes Sage access

If your enrolment in your underlying Knowledge Source program ends, your access to Sage ends immediately. Your data is retained per the Privacy Policy until you delete your account.

3. Account and security

You are responsible for:

  • Keeping your login credentials confidential
  • All activity that occurs under your account
  • Notifying us promptly at privacy@iloverealestate.tv if you suspect your account has been accessed without your authorisation

You must not share your account, sell access, or let anyone else use it.

4. Description of the service

Sage is an AI assistant that provides general information and education about property investing. It uses the personal and financial details you tell it about, together with publicly available property data, to generate responses tailored to the way you ask your questions.

Sage is not a financial adviser, mortgage broker, real estate agent, lawyer, accountant, or any other licensed professional. It is software.

5. Educational purpose only, not financial advice

Important. Sage provides general information for educational purposes only. It does not provide financial product advice. We do not hold an Australian Financial Services Licence (AFSL) and we are not authorised representatives of any AFSL holder.

Nothing Sage says constitutes:

  • Personal financial product advice as defined in the Corporations Act 2001 (Cth)
  • A recommendation to acquire, dispose of, or hold any financial product
  • Tax, legal, or credit advice

You must not rely on Sage's outputs as advice. Any decisions you make about your money, your property, your borrowing, or your investments are entirely your own.

6. No personal advice, even though we collect personal data

We collect detailed personal and financial information from you so Sage can give you responses that are relevant to your situation. That personalisation is not personal financial advice.

Our outputs remain general information only. We do not assess whether any product, strategy, or course of action is appropriate, suitable, or in your best interests. We do not consider your full financial position, risk tolerance, or objectives in the way a licensed adviser would.

Before acting on anything Sage tells you, you should consult appropriately licensed professionals, for example a financial adviser, mortgage broker, accountant, or solicitor.

7. AI-generated content disclaimer

Sage's responses are generated by large language models. AI-generated content can be:

  • Incorrect or out of date
  • Confidently wrong (commonly called "hallucinations")
  • Inconsistent between sessions

You must independently verify anything you intend to rely on. We make no representation or warranty that Sage's outputs are accurate, complete, current, or fit for any particular purpose.

8. Acceptable use

When using Sage, you must not:

  • Scrape, crawl, or use automated tools to access the service
  • Probe, attack, or attempt to bypass security or rate limits
  • Attempt to extract our prompts, training data, source data, or model weights
  • Use Sage to generate content that is unlawful, defamatory, harassing, infringing, or that violates anyone else's rights
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or copy any part of the service
  • Use the service in any way that breaches Australian law

We may suspend or terminate your access immediately if you breach this section.

9. Intellectual property

We (Knowledge Seminars Pty Ltd) own the Sage platform, including the software, design, prompts, and content we author. All rights in these are reserved.

You retain ownership of the inputs you provide (your questions, your profile data, and anything else you submit). You grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use, store, process, and transmit your inputs solely to operate the service for you. This licence ends when you delete your account, except where a copy must be retained for backup or legal reasons.

You may not use Sage's outputs to claim authorship, train competing models, or for any commercial purpose beyond your own personal use.

10. Third-party services

Sage links to and integrates with third-party services and data sources, including property listings, news, and external tools. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, availability, or terms of those third-party services. Your use of any third-party service is at your own risk and subject to that third party's terms.

11. Termination

You may terminate this agreement at any time by deleting your account in Settings. Deletion is immediate, with backups rolling off within 30 days.

We may suspend or terminate your access at any time, with or without notice, if:

  • You breach these Terms
  • Your enrolment in your underlying Knowledge Source program ends
  • We are required to do so by law
  • We discontinue the service

On termination, your licence to use Sage ends. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including sections 5, 6, 7, 9, 12, 13, 14, and 15) will survive.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • Our total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of Sage is limited to AUD $100.
  • We exclude all liability for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive losses, including loss of profits, loss of data, loss of opportunity, or loss arising from any investment decision.
  • We exclude all warranties, conditions, and representations that are not expressly stated in these Terms, to the extent the law allows us to.

Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any guarantee, right, or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law (Schedule 2 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth)) that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted, or modified.

Where we are permitted by law to limit our liability for breach of a non-excludable consumer guarantee, our liability is limited, at our option, to re-supplying the service or paying the cost of having the service re-supplied.

13. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Knowledge Seminars Pty Ltd, its directors, officers, employees, and agents from any claim, loss, damage, liability, cost, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or relating to:

  • Your use of the service
  • Your breach of these Terms
  • Your breach of any law or third-party right
  • Any decision you make in reliance on Sage's outputs

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Victoria, Australia. You and we each submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria and the courts that hear appeals from them.

15. Dispute resolution

If a dispute arises between us, we both agree to follow this process before starting any court proceeding (other than for urgent injunctive relief):

  1. Notice. The party raising the dispute sends written notice to the other describing the dispute and the outcome they want.
  2. Good-faith negotiation. We will negotiate in good faith for at least 30 days to try to resolve it.
  3. Mediation. If we cannot resolve the dispute through negotiation, we will attempt mediation in Victoria, Australia, with a mediator we agree on (or, if we cannot agree, one nominated by the Victorian Bar's mediation service).
  4. Courts. Only after the steps above have been exhausted may either of us start court proceedings.

16. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time.

  • Material changes will trigger an in-app re-acknowledgment. You'll see a one-time prompt asking you to read the changes and acknowledge before continuing.
  • Non-material changes (typos, formatting, clarifications) will not trigger re-acknowledgment.

Each version is dated and listed in the Changes section below.
